Job Purpose
As part of team responsible to set up, run, and monitor production equipment; meet or exceed productivity goals, and quality standards.
Duties
- Work in compliance with all safety standards and Good Manufacturing Principles
- Monitor and operate production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with production equipment
- Complete all production paperwork including weight check forms and product labelling
- Take samples to be tested for food quality
- Sanitize and clean production area
- Regular manual material handling up to 25 kg
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Previous experience working in a dairy/food manufacturing environment is considered an asset
- Capable of working both independently and in a team
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated consistency, quality and accuracy in your work performance
- Ability to exercise good judgment and a conscious concern for safety
- Ability to work shift work, inclusive of nights and weekends
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: $21.85-$22.35 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sussex, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Industrial Food & Beverage Production Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
