Velocity Auto Body Inc., a part of Shift Auto Group, is a cosmetic vehicle reconditioning facility. Velocity Auto Body completes all of the body repairs for the used vehicles from Volvo Cars NB, ReCar, and Fredericton Mitsubishi. As this is a used vehicle reconditioning facility and does not do large insurance repairs or customer pay work, most of the jobs are fairly light in terms of actual damage.

Auto Body Prepper, in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Sanding of body repairs made in order to get them smooth and ready for paint.
- As needed, removing and re-installing body panels, trim pieces, accessories, lights and other body items.
- Prepping vehicles for paint. This includes applying paper/tape/plastic to protect areas not to be painted.
- After vehicle is painted, removing paper/tape/plastic, and any post-paint buffing/wet-sanding.
- Some painting may be required, but this is not a skill currently required by an applicant.
Qualifications:
- Body Shop and/or Body Shop Prepping experience required,
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
Benefits:
The pay structure for this position is based on an aggressive base salary and a commission plan (based strictly on performance).
